I went out to Ibiza the other week to film for MTV, with Rickie & Melvin and the lovely Laura Whitmore. We filmed at a cool Restaurant/Club called Novum. Hopefully I will get a copy of the footage for you all to see soon, but keep a look out for it on MTV. After I finished filming I went out partying with my friend Tinie Tempah, first we hit Space Club where Tinie performed alongside DJ’s Zane Lowe and Mark Ronson, there performances where EPIC!!! Then we all hit Club Eden to party with Chipmunk. Tinie caught most of the night on film, so checkout his video diary.

Yesterday I met up with my competition winner a girl called Lauren who won the chance to be my apprentice for the day. In the evening I took Lauren and her parents to the Premiere of Disney’s Sorcerer’s Apprentice and there was a few surprises for Lauren… First they played a video of the two of us doing magic on the big screen, then we performed together in front of the star studded audience before finally introducing the film with the help of Ch4’s Rick Edwards and the Film’s star Jay Burachel. I think it was a day Lauren will never forget… She was a little star. The film is in UK cinemas from 13th August so make sure you go see it!!!

Although the Hip Hop world still has no idea when, if ever Dr Dre will release the new album “Detox” , he’s definetely being alot more active as of late. Here he is in the new Hewlett Packard Envy advert which also features Dre’s “under Pressure” beat… enjoy!

Me and Uncle Snoop

In 2006 Snoop was banned from entering the UK, but finally in 2010 after 4 years the big boss Dogg was finally let of the chain and allowed to do his thing up in the UK! I met Snoop back in 2005 and he always seemed to be a fan of my magic. Having amazed him over twitter earlier in the week, he invited us to come hang with him in Manchester, where he was making a visit to Ordsall Youth center to spend a bit of time with the kids and the local community. It was refreshing to see a Superstar willingly giving advice to up and coming rappers & producers, he even made a beat for them in the the youth center’s studio! The funniest part of the day though, had to be watching Snoop play a match of 5 a side football, whilst Manchester United/England Player Rio Ferdinand coached him from the side line..lol

Snoop  went on to blow the roof of the Manchester Apollo with an amazing performance for Orange Rock Corps. Definitely a day the people of Manchester and Ordsall will never forget and it was an honour be a part of it. Thanks uncle Snoop
